Luxury by the coast

Posted 14th February

Just a ten-minute walk from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path in the charming village of Herbrandston lies Little Fox Cottage

- Five star property for six in Pembrokeshire
- Ideally situated for visits to Skomer Island and Little Haven
- Features include double-sided woodburning stove, three double bedrooms with en-suites & 12ft sunken swim spa
- Parking for three to four cars available

This super luxurious cottage is 200 years old and has been creatively renovated with every comfort in mind.

One of the highlights has to be an opulent 12ft sunken swim spa that’s kept at a toasty 40 degrees all year round – the perfect place to relax with a glass of bubbly after a long coastal walk or day on the beach. The outside entertainment area also boasts a shower and a state of the art music and mood lighting system as well as a garden table and chairs with a large cantilever parasol. Keen chefs will be kept happy with the built in barbecue and they can cook up a storm in the wood fired pizza oven.  There is also a village pub and shop just two minutes walk away.

Inside the welcoming hall features a double-sided woodburning stove and upstairs are three wonderful double bedrooms, two with super king beds. All have super comfy mattresses and hotel standard en suites with walk-in showers. Sports and film fans will not be disappointed here and there is no need to fight over the TV remote as there is a TV set in each bedroom as well as TVs in the lounge and kitchen. There is also a 3D HD DVD film collection and free Wi-Fi throughout.

The property’s contemporary fitted kitchen is very well equipped and features bi-fold doors that open across the width of the cottage to the stunning split-level outdoor entertainment area.

This detached property has off road parking for three to four cars and suits both couples and families. A cot, highchair and stairgates are provided on request.

Nearby the Coastal Path is perfect for exploring Pembrokeshire’s stunning coastline with Sandy Haven being the closest beach, here the Path cross the sand via stepping stones that are only accessible for two hours either side of low tide. Outside of these times a longer route is necessary.

Not to be missed is a visit to Skomer Island to see the Puffins, while Little Haven with its picturesque cove and choice of restaurants is only a ten-minute drive from property.

A week’s stay for six costs from £995 and a three-night break from £746. (www.premiercottages.co.uk, 07831 266026)
