Fragrant lavender, rose and daisy petals transform handmade paper into little works of art, which can be used to create beautiful decorations
1 Tea always makes a lovely gift, especially when it’s packaged so beautifully. Why not use handmade paper strewn with marigolds and cornflowers to present tea flavoured with these flowers? A little heart decorated with rose petals completes the ensemble.
2 This gift paper is a real one-off. Used either as wrapping paper or as a decorative ribbon, it only takes little touches to create something extra special. The larger parcel is also decorated with a butterfly and a flower. Cut the paper to the desired shape (you can find templates here and here) and punch two holes in the centre, through which you can thread ribbon.
3 These two love birds are enjoying a little rendezvous (template here). A kebab skewer makes the perfect branch, tied up with a length of parcel string. To hang the birds, cut a flap for each wing and secure them into position as shown.
4 To make a pretty hanging garland, cut out various decorative shapes (templates here and here) in different colours. Use a craft knife to make two slits in each shape, then carefully thread through the string.
Win! A set three pocket squares worth £50!
