National Parks Week (25th-31st July) allows families to embrace the many wonders of the great outdoors. To celebrate, we will be showcasing each of the UK's 15 National Parks, so that you know exactly what each one will offer.

Snowdonia National Park, Wales

Amazing landscapes and a range of outdoor activities make Wales’ largest National Park a popular choice with thousands of visitors every year. The area is home to 26,000 people, half of which speak the Welsh language, as well Snowdon – the highest mountain in England and Wales – and the largest natural lake in Wales.

With one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the UK, the purple heather, open moors and stunning coastline with cliffs and beaches combine to make the North York Moors truly spectacular. Peaceful woodlands and tranquil fishing villages with heritage sites including a steam railway can all be found less than an hour away from York.
