Make your own Berry Boxes

Not just for making refreshing drinks, fruit can be a great inspiration. Why not turn your hand to a little colourful crafting using your favourite juicy fruit?

Serve up juicy summer berries in these small colourful boxes.

1 Begin by downloading our ‘berry boxes’ template here or send a stamped self-addressed envelope to Berry Boxes Template LLJULY18, LandLove Magazine, HBMUK, The Tower, Phoenix Square, Colchester, Essex, CO4 9HU. The template will print onto one sheet of A4 paper. Each box and flag is made from one sheet of A4 printed card.

2 The simplest way to make a batch of berry boxes is to photocopy or print out the template directly onto a sheet of A4 printed card.

3 Cut around the template outline and then lightly score the dotted lines using scissors.

4 Fold the sides of the template up into a box shape.

5 Fold the two side tabs once over inside the box and use a glue stick to hold the middle section in place. Next glue the ends of the tabs to the outside of the box and press to hold.

6 To finish the box, cut and stick a length of colourful Washi tape around the outside top of each box.

7 To make the flag cut out the printed tenant on the template, glue it onto a cocktail stick. 8 Line each box with greaseproof paper; fill with berries and top with flag.
