The UK & Ireland’s answer to Route 66

An estimated 200,000 people travel from across America and the world every year to drive all or part of the iconic Route 66 stretching from Chicago to Los Angeles, but now the UK and Ireland has its own answer to the iconic route with the introduction of Route 57

To help people explore the UK and Ireland to its full potential, Jurys Inns Hotels have created a new road trip to go onto the bucket list. ‘Route 57’ – a drive across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, offers 57 must-see destinations along the way, of similar mileage and drive-time to Route 66 itself.

The route is made up of 10 shorter road trips to allow explorers to do part or all of the route at their leisure, in any order, whether all at once or gradually.

Roadmap

Jurys Inn Hotels hope to see it turn into a bucket list item, boosting local tourism with people travelling from home and abroad just to drive the route.

Find details for Route 57 at jurysinns.com/route57-roadtrips, complete with pictures and descriptions of all 57 destinations and a map at the end for journey planning, and start an adventure of your own.
