Julia Bradbury's Wainwright Walks: Coast to Coast

Julia Bradbury's Wainwright Walks: Coast to Coast

Following on from her successful book, Julia Bradbury's Wainwright Walks, Coast to Coast accompanies the popular BBC television series in which TV presenter Julia Bradbury re-traces Wainwright's steps in a coast to coast adventure. The book splits the challenging walk into six manageable stages; starting in the west walking from St Bees to Rosthwaite, Rosthwaite to Shap, Shap to Keld, Keld to Richmond, Richmond to Blakey Ridge and Blakey Ridge to Robin Hood's Bay in the east.

From the introduction readers are immersed in the incredible journey, starting with the traditional toe dip in the sea to the challenges of the changing weather, fascinating history and some words of wisdom for getting through the final stretch. Accompanied by detailed illustrations, beautiful photography, route details and commentary from Julia every step of the way, no detail of the adventure is missed. Read an extract here
