A four day exhibition, open to all, eight artists showing nine disciplines - at Clay Barn - a delightfully informal and welcoming venue, overflowing into the beautiful garden with sculpture on display and demonstrations during the weekend. RHS Chatsworth Flower Show

The Royal Horticultural Society’s newest Show, RHS Chatsworth Flower Show partnered by Wedgwood will return to the magnificent 1,000 acre Chatsworth Estate with exciting new content including a river of 12,000 Cosmos and over 100 varieties of orchid, to satisfy inquisitive minds and fulfil the senses. Plant and Tree Identification walk

Sunday 10th of June 2018

Join naturalist Phil Taylor for a guided walk to identify some of the plants and trees along the canal. Learn to identify common species from features such as flowers, leaves and bark. Discover the importance of these local species to the wider ecosystem and learn about some of their past and present uses by humans. This event is suitable for accompanied children but is aimed at adults. £2, booking essential. It runs between 10am – 12pm at Melbourne Arm, Pocklington Canal, Yorkshire, YO42 4QJ. Canal Founders: A History Walk

Join Phil Gilbank for a guided walk starting with the memorials of the original canal founders and a short walk around the town looking at the houses that they once lived in. This walk ends at the Pocklington Arts Centre to view the exhibit. £2. The walk runs between 7pm – 9pm. Rose Show

Squire’s Garden Centre in Shepperton is hosting its annual Rose Show and Floral Art Display on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June. Entrance is free and everyone’s welcome. Go Wild! Nature Open Day

Malton Food Lovers Festival

The tenth annual Malton Food Lovers Festival will be hosted this year on the 26th and 27th May, in Malton’s picturesque town centre, located within the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Four of Yorkshire’s own Michelin starred chefs headlining festival activity, where they will host cookery demonstrations, talks and interviews.
