125g wholemeal flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
225ml Almond Breeze unsweetened drink
1 medium egg
1 tablespoon honey
1. Place the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Whisk together to combine.
2. Mix the Almond Breeze unsweetened drink, egg and honey together in a measuring jug. Slowly add the wet mix to the dry, whisking all of the time to prevent lumps.
3. Cover the mixture and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Pre-heat a non-stick waffle griddle over a medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the mixture to each waffle mould and cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.
Tip: Serve topped with fresh fruit and drizzled with honey.
